Training Coordinators may request a roster to obtain optional First Responder cards from CMEMSC by providing:

1. Instructor qualifications per A/R 2-100

2. Dates, times, and location of First Responder course at least two weeks prior to course start date

3. Intention statement that the program will be taught in accordance with A/R 2-100 “Minimum Standards for First Aid Training for First Responders”

First Responder training requirement clarification:

According to 171.120, effective July 18, 2003:

(B) Each first responder shall satisfactorily complete a refresher course in cardiopulmonary resuscitation each year after initial cardiopulmonary resuscitation training.
