Education Director

Central Mass EMS Corporation is seeking a highly motivated individual to join our team of dedicated EMS professionals and fill the role of Education Director. The candidate we are seeking will have the following:

  • Massachusetts EMT certification (must be maintained) (ALS level preferred)
  • Minimum three years EMS experience on an ambulance preferred
  • Minimum undergraduate degree strongly recommended
  • AHA Instructor credentials
  • Experience in EMS Training and Education
  • Knowledge of prehospital treatment protocols
  • Understanding of EMS communications
  • Proficiency in public speaking
  • Strong computer literacy especially in Microsoft Office® products

The position of Education Director entails multiple responsibilities that ensure the quality of basic and advanced life support services provided to the people of Central Massachusetts. A few specifics are:

  • Providing a central information point for all providers relative to pre-hospital treatment protocols, EMS regulations, administrative requirements and advisories, certification & recertification requirements, and regional medical services and training committee meetings and initiatives
  • Assisting communities with the development, revision, and updating of Service Zone Plans
  • Reviewing continuing education and NCCR applications for compliance with state training standards. Issues approval numbers or makes recommendations to services to improve training outlines.

Worcester CMED Per Diem Operator

Available shifts: Weekends and holidays primarily and occassion weekdays

8 hour shifts; 7a-3p, 3-11p & 11p-7a

This is a per-diem position.

Full training provided. Starting pay: $18.00/hr*

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • excellent communication skills
  • basic computer skills
  • the ability to work independently
  • the capacity to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
  • the ability to remain calm & professional under pressure
  • previous radio communications/dispatch experience (preferred)


  • MA EMT certification in good standing
  • BLS for Healthcare Provider
  • High school diploma

POSITION DESCRIPTION: Wood's is currently seeking qualified EMTs and Paramedics for full-time employment. Responsibilities include providing emergent and non-emergent transports as directed by dispatch and management, utilizing good judgment and providing high quality patient care.


  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Current Registration as EMT-Paramedic
  • CPR-Advance Life Support provider certification by the AHA
  • Current licensure in accordance with protocols and procedures required by OEMS in the State of MA
  • Current CPS, SCLS, BCLS, ACLS, PALS, PHTLS , BTLS and PEEP certification
  • Current valid Motor Vehicle Operator License with good driving record
  • 2+ years of experience in an EMS/Pre-Hospital Emergency Medical Care environment

  • Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality
