RE:       Updated Version of Statewide Treatment Protocols for March 2012 implementation

The updated version of the Statewide Treatment Protocols, version 10.01, for implementation March 1, 2012, is now posted on the OEMS website, at http://www.mass.gov/eohhs/provider/guidelines-resources/clinical-treatment/public-health-oems-treatment-protocols.html.

At that link, you will find the following three documents at the top of the list:

• Emergency Medical Services Pre-hospital Treatment Protocols Version 10.01
• Memo: Upcoming Statewide Treatment Protocols Version 10.01
• Protocol Changes Chart

The first bullet links to the .pdf and Word versions of the full set up Protocols.

The second bullet contains the Memo announcing the updated Protocols’ implementation.

The third bullet is a chart listing the changes in this year’s version of the Protocols.

Please ensure all your EMTs are trained to the updated Statewide Treatment Protocols, and are ready to treat patients in accordance with version 10.01 by March 1, 2012.
