Region II CMED Operations Continuing Education Program

This two (2) hour OEMS approved program is offered free of charge to Region II EMS Services. The course may be delivered in person at CMEMSC/CMED (Holden) or at your classroom location or virtually via Zoom.

EMTs of all levels will gain insight into the operations of EMS Region II Central Medical Emergency Direction (CMED).  EMTs will learn how to provide clear and concise entry notifications in accordance with Worcester CMED’s recommendations. A review of Mass Casualty Incident (MCI) procedures associated with CMED as well as how to activate MCI resources will also be covered.
