15-40 Connection

3 Steps Detect - Early Cancer Detection is an education program from 15-40 Connection that is designed to teach first responders to detect cancer early.  EMT’s experience high levels of stress, disruptive sleep schedules and exposure to carcinogens on the fire ground throughout their careers, all of which are proven to contribute to higher cancer morbidity and mortality.   This free 45 minute in-person course teaches first responders how to baseline their own good health; recognize subtle health changes to their baseline that could be symptoms of cancer; and when and how to seek care from their health practitioner.

Schedule 3 Steps Detect to come to your department here. Or call 508-869-5215 for more information.
